well our halloween was pretty fun we had a real good turnout for our party we had about 50 people show up it was a lot of fun it was good to see old friends and to watch the kids all play on halloween we went to the mall and the kids got a ton of candy there when we came home we thought we would take the kids out for a bit around teh neighborhood we thought what harm could it be well about a hour later the kids came back and kevin had another grocery bag full of candy plus the kids bags people were handing out like goody bags of candy and full candy bars it was great it was more candy then what the kids got at hewlett packard and for all those of you that know how much candy we got there you know it is a lot below are some pictures of the kids and stuff. I think this was the first halloween in canada that I remember there being no snow it was actually really nice wheather. while we were at the mall they had a local high school band playing there and the conductor was darth vader it was really cool as they were playing the theme to star wars and pirates it was cool.

Our month of October

Well it is starting to get really cold up here although there is no snow yet. Although I am sure it will be here by halloween night as it has always been a tradition for us in canada to be trick or treating in a blizzard so we will see as for the kids they found some really cute costumes kyro is going to of course be hannah montana, and dj is going to be jack sparrow as he looked in the first movie when he was a skeleton and his cosutme is awsome it glows in the dark, and matt is going to be pablo from backyardagains and looks adorable in it I will post picture of them when we have halloween. we are throwing our first party and I am a little nervous as I don't think any one is going to show up instead of family we are going to have adance and trick or treating and a costume parade and a competition for costumes there is also going to be a touch and feel table and some other games and stuff we are going to put on some halloween cartoons for the little ones if there is room so we will see I will post pictures so you can see how it turns out. we have invited about 60 families of all our friends and families up here so hopefully some one will show up. 2 weeks ago I started a ballet class and though it would be easy but I was wrong it is way harder then I thought it would be. but i am enjoying it a lot. my back is starting to feel better though I have an appointment with my doctor to see if he thinks I need an mri to see if ther is anything else more serious going on. our thanksgiving was awsome I was at the first thanksgiving with our familyies for the first time in 8 years to that was nice. but don't think we are not going to be no celebrating the american thanks giving as I still have two boys who are american and they need to know where they come from. I have taken the task of creating 2 wedding cakes for my two sisters weddings and I am not sure what I got my self into but it will be a challenge. kevin and I have not gotten any callings in the ward yet but we are okay with that. we are to busy right now anyway. with kevin enjoying tae- quondo with dj and kyro in dance and in the nutcracker this christmas as the tickets for that costed us 76 dollars a peice and me in my ballet it has been busy. So I really am not hurt by not having a calling although kevin is hoping to get primary pianist so we will see I would rather go inactive. But kevin will not let me do that so we will just go on. make sure you check back regular as I will be posting other items on my blog which should be fun and interesting.

getting settled

Well we are here. things are going pretty well and it is starting to get cold it will have to be an adjustment to getting used to the cold weather again as I seem to remember when I was growing up that when Halloween came around we were in snow suits under our costumes. the kids will defiantly miss going trick or treating in hp where it is warm, but I guess they also do trick or treating in the malls around here also. as for September I went to church for the first time on Sunday since we have been up here and well it was interesting they didn't seem to know much about the church. the last weekend of Sept. we are going to do so sealings for Kevin's grandparents that is if Kevin can get his recommend signed by then we will see what happens also this weekend we will finally be getting our Durangoafter a month of not having it. it will be nice to finally have it again. Kevin has been busy and I think he is liking his work he is actually off to a green housing convention for work so it will be interesting to see what he comes home with as we would like to build our next house green as much as possible. kyro has some exciting news she tried out for the nutcracker with the Moscow ballet that is coming to the area and she will be preforming in that this November she is so excited about it. DJ has started tae quon do and loves it . it is so good for him to have the structure. he is also doing great in school and liking his teacher he is making lots of friends and kyro is struggling with making friends and is getting down in the dumps about it cause she really has never had any problems with it before. she sure misses Alyssa and her other friends there. the curse has also caught up to me also about two days after we moved in I ended up with kids from the neighborhood here at my house the funny thing is they are 12 and 13 a 12 year old boy and a 13 yr old girl and I can't figure out why would they want to hang out with my family when I only have a9 and 7 yr old it is weird although the boy who comes over is obnoxious and drives me crazy. so needles to say I can't wait to get building our home and get out in to the country. as for building we are actually starting to get our plans approved and hopefully by November we can start the process and be in our home by next summer. so that will be nice. Matt is so funny I gave him a haircut on Monday and well I left my clippers out on the counter and well later that night as I was tucking in the kids we hear a uzzing sound but we thought it was our tooth brush and didn't think any thing about it until we came into the kitchen and saw matt shaving his head with the clippers and with no guard so needless to say he is bald now and looks so funny with out hair. Kyro has dance twice a week Mon and Thursday and DJ has tae quon do twice a week Tuesday's and Thursday's. I am handling things better but miss a ot of stuff and people and think of you all often and when I do I cry cause I miss you all so much You are all a big park of our lives and will always be as I have made some precious friendships that I will never forget. I love and miss you all so much and hope everything is going well for all of you and your dreams are coming true. so Until next time take it easy

Our Move To Canada EH!!!!

well we are here in canada and enjoying it so far although it is quite cold still up here it is like winter here it has been cloudy every day since we got up herewe have been up here now for about a week and well last saturday we took barky up to my moms and left him there for a while until we can build our own home again. while we were up there we met my parents exchange student from japan her name is mi yu and she is quite a neat girlshe loves it up here she especially love the animals. saturday night we went to a corn bust at my parents house which was fun we then returned home sunday and met up with our kids and kevins family. we thought our stuff would be here by friday sept. 5 but it won't be here till monday morning some time you see on the fourth of sept our stuff arived in calgary at customs which would be the border so me and kevin had to drive 2 .5 hours just to sign a paper and turn around and come home I am so sick of driving in a car my back hurts so much that I am in so much pain. we also signed up for our tv service just it seems like nothing is going really smoothly for this move at all other then getting us across the border. we are still tring to get our durango across the border and once we get the title for it we will be able go get it. We sure miss every body so much and the kids are setteling in pretty good kyro is of course making lots of friends but misses allysa terribly, dj is also making lots of friends which is really nice to see. they have already spent alot of time with their cousins and are starting to build relationships with them. kevins job is going pretty good he has a lot of work to do and will stay quite busy as for our house there in idaho we have not had any bites on it yet and hope to soon I just need to put my trust in the lord that he will take care of us. I hope and pray all of you is doing well and we dearly miss all of you as you all are really important to us and your friendship means alot to us please stay in touch and check back often to see how we are doing. once we get in to our house we will submit pictures and stuff for you all to see >

I am going crazy

Well here we go. Down for the count, it is August and it will be a busy month as there is lots going on. from the 10th through the 15th, I will be in Oregon at a family reunion that we have been planning for about 2 years. It will be fun to finally get it over with. We are having a pirate theme and I have a lot planned for the kids that should make it alot of fun for everyone; but, the thing is we are leaving this coming Saturday as we have an open house scheduled that day for our house. I just hope and pray that we can get someone to come and look at the home. I know it will sell if we can get people to come and look. The open house will be from 11-4 pm Saturday August 9, so on top of getting all the stuff packed for the reunion and making sure my house is clean. I am also getting my carpets cleaned on Tuesday. It is a little crazy as it gives me about 2 weeks of pure packing since we are leaving on the 29th of August and the kids start school on the 2nd of September. We still have to get all the supplies, clothes and other misc stuff all within those 2 weeks. So, it will be a little hairy in my next post. I will include pictures of my trip to Oregon and the reunion and stuff, so it will be fun.

hi ho hi ho were off to zion yo

On the 18 we went to salt lake for the weekend it was a lot of fun as we went camping at the koa in Provo on Fri we actually ate at an old fashioned diner that was really cool as it brought back many memories for us on Saturday we went up to seven peaks and spent the whole day up there and we got really sun burnt especially me as I was hurting real bad that night the next day we all went up to temple square in salt lake and we went to the church history museum which was really cool. we also went through the beehive house where Brigham young lived, we also went to the north and south temple visitor centers, we also spent some time at the Provo temple and had a lot of fun.we took Alyssa Perren with us and her and kyro had a lot of fun hanging out DJ Caleb and David had a lot of fun time together playing in the river behind us it was a lot of fun watching them play and it is those friendships that make this move so much more harder as they are developing some great friendships

Busy July

Well this past month has been a whirlwind for me and my family as at the end of June we decided to go up to Canada and visit family and friends and what was supposed to be a relaxing couple of weeks turned in to a very busy couple of weeks to start with we got up there and had a couple of kind of relaxing days up there as my 96 year old grandmother is trying to die and was in the hospital she can't even walk around any more. And then we went to Waterton Provincial Park for the day with one of my best friends and her kids we threw rocks in the lake got about 5 feet from a deer went to the candy store and had some yummy ice cream I also took my daughter up to to the prince of whales hotel which is a hotel with alot of history for my family as my great grandfather Hall helped build it so I always feel drawn to it when I visit the area. Later that day Kevin's dad offered him a job to come work for his company in lethbridge being a project manager for his company helping put houses to gether. so we told him we would think about it while we were up at my parents. the next day we left for my parents and 6 hours later we got there. The first week went pretty smoothly as we Hung out with my dad and just hung out the kids helped him built a tree house and they had a blast doing that. by the time the weekend came around we were going to have a birthday party for matt so I worked on a cake all week for him which turned out to be bigger then I originally had thought. I made him a cake of the mickey mouse club house it was made out of rice crispier treats it was really good. later that night as we were all sitting around a campfire talking about life 1 boy who is dating my sister asked for my dad's blessing to marry her 3 or four hours later my youngest sister announced to us that she was pregnant and keep in mind this was all in about 3-4 hours of it self all I could think was my poor dad what he must have been going through at that point in time. The next day was Sunday and we all were supposed to sing in church as that was something I love to do especially with my family we had about 20 of us singing the song from efy a few years ago called the duet of army of heleman and sisters in Zion it was great having all the family and future brother in law singing with us it was very complete. the next week went by pretty smoothly as we went to the beach. paid 80$ for a pedicure which was outrageous but it was a thing where we all were getting it done as all the girls got it done at my sisters salon where she works. we left to come home the next Friday and stopped over in cardston to go to the temple to pray about the move. and well we both came out with different feelings he came out with the feeling of yes it is the right thing to do and well I came out with the complete opposite feeling as I was a little scared about the whole thing. but as the month has gone on I have been able to feel more comfortable about the whole thing and from an eternal perspective it is the right thing to do I know that.So at the end of Aug I a will be moving to Canada and my house is going to be on the market till it sells so wish us luck.
